Confirmed Business Analyst - Banking and insurance - Financial Services - Lille

Role Summary

As part of a permanent recruitment, you will join the Sopra Steria Financial Services teams in Lille, within a rapidly developing agency.

As a Business Analyst, you work on high value-added IT projects, in close proximity to the business teams of our banking and insurance clients.

You play a central role in business transformation projects and in supporting the definition of new digital tools, within multidisciplinary Agile teams (scoping, development, recipe, deployment).

Prior experience in the banking or insurance sector is highly appreciated in order to quickly understand business and regulatory issues.

Your role and missions

• As a Business Analyst, you operate in an Agile context across the entire project cycle:
• Organization and animation of customer workshops (collection of needs, decision support)
• Analysis and formalization of business needs
• Writing functional documentation (User Stories, specifications, models)
• Participation and animation of project monitoring bodies (daily, committees, co-design workshops)
• Work closely with development teams
• Contribution to maintaining and prioritizing the project backlog
• Participation in functional acceptance phases
• Proposal of continuous improvement plans, based on understanding customer needs

You can also intervene on cross-functional subjects: sharing expertise, running training, participating in initiatives around innovation and digital.

Requirements

• Diploma from an engineering school, Master 2 or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (at least 5 years)
• Experience in banking or insurance is essential
• Ability to understand complex business issues and translate them into functional needs
• Ease of communicating with business and technical contacts
• Very good interpersonal skills, sense of service and team spirit
• Capacity for analysis, synthesis and strength of proposal
