Role Summary

As part of a permanent recruitment, you will join the Sopra Steria Financial Services teams in Strasbourg and work with banking and insurance clients on high value-added IT projects.

As a Business Analyst, you work closely with our clients' business teams in order to offer them concrete solutions on structuring and sustainable subjects.

You play a central role in business transformation projects and in supporting the definition of new digital tools, within multidisciplinary Agile teams (scoping, development, recipe, deployment).

Experience in the banking, insurance or more broadly Financial Services sectors is appreciated, without being exclusive.

Your role and missions

• As a Business Analyst, you operate in an Agile context across the entire project cycle:
• Organization and animation of customer workshops (collection of needs, decision support)
• Analysis and formalization of business needs
• Writing functional documentation (User Stories, specifications, models)
• Participation and animation of project monitoring bodies (daily, committees, co-design workshops)
• Work closely with development teams
• Contribution to maintaining and prioritizing the project backlog
• Participation in functional acceptance phases
• Proposal of continuous improvement plans, based on understanding customer needs

• Close collaboration with business and IT teams

Requirements

• Diploma from an engineering school, Master 2 or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience in banking or insurance is an asset, without being a strict prerequisite
• Ability to understand complex business issues and translate them into functional needs
• Ease of communicating with business and technical contacts
• Very good interpersonal skills, sense of service and team spirit
• Capacity for analysis, synthesis and strength of proposal
