Role Summary

Context & Issues

As part of strengthening our AMOA teams on major transformation programs in the Insurance sector (IS overhaul, digitalization of pathways, IFRS17 / Solvency II / DDA regulatory compliance), we are looking for a confirmed Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Insurance, whatever the scope (IARD, Life, Health, Protection, Claims, Distribution).

BPMN UML

  • UAT testing strategy
  • Animation of workshops
  • Basic SQL simple queries
  • Agile Scrum Kanban or V-shaped cycle depending on the project
  • Jira Confluence Tools Miro Postman
  • Advanced Data PowerBI SQL concepts
  • Contribution to an IS migration or overhaul of insurance products
  • Functional documentation

Responsibilities

The consultant will act as an interface point between the Insurance business teams and the IT teams:

Analysis & Collection

  • Animation of business workshops (underwriting, management, compensation, products, compliance).
  • Collection, challenge and prioritization of needs.
  • Writing functional specifications (SFD), User Stories, management rules.
  • Modeling & Design
  • Process modeling in BPMN / UML.
  • Definition of user journeys (front, subscription, back-office).

AMOA piloting

  • Development of testing strategies and data sets.
  • UAT coordination / approval / monitoring of anomalies.
  • Contribution to project and reporting committees.
  • Support for change
  • Updated documentation.
  • Participation in user training.
  • Post-deployment support.

Requirements

Profile sought

5 years minimum as a Business Analyst / AMOA.

Professional experience Compulsory insurance

  • Ability to interact with actuaries, business teams and technical teams.
  • Strong capacity for analysis, synthesis and pedagogy.
  • Adaptability: ability to join a varied IS context (legacy + modernization).
  • Knowledge of at least one P&C scope Life Health Protection Products Claims Distribution Pricing Compensation
  • Familiarity with the regulatory constraints of the IFRS17 Solvency II DDA sector
  • Collection and expression of needs
  • SFD US editorial team
