Test engineer (M/F)

Test engineer (M/F) at ALTEN in Boulogne-Billancourt, IDF, France.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and carry out the tests necessary for product validation, ensuring the correct implementation of test means
• Analyze results, identify gaps and contribute to resolving technical issues
• Define or adapt test protocols and guarantee the quality, reliability and traceability of measurements
• Collaborate with the design, quality and industrialization teams to secure project milestones

Requirements

Training / Experience

• Bac+5 diploma (engineering school or equivalent) with a specialization in mechanics, physics, measurements, electronics, materials, aeronautics, or related technical field
• A first successful experience (around 2 to 3 years) in testing, validation, characterization or experimental tests, ideally in a demanding environment (aeronautics, space, defense, electronics, energy, telecoms, etc.)

Technical skills

• Mastery of testing means and measurement techniques (instrumentation, acquisition, metrology)
• Ability to define a test protocol, conduct tests and analyze results
• Knowledge of standards and requirements related to mechanical/environmental/RF testing
• Comfort with data analysis and reporting tools
• Ability to work interface with design, calculation and quality
• Personal qualities
• Autonomy, rigor, spirit of analysis and synthesis
• Relational ease and writing skills
• Languages and mobility
• Professional command of English (read, written, spoken)
