QA Engineer - Payment and electronic banking - Financial Services - Ile-De-France

Role Summary

Within the Galitt By Sopra Steria Test Solution & Services agency, we support our clients in the management of their payment projects by providing productive skills specialized in payment methods and by covering all stages of the project, from design to development and testing.

Reporting to the QA Manager, you work in daily interaction with the quality assurance team.

Responsibilities

Your role and missions

As a QA Engineer you will be required to

Learn and analyze the needs expressed by the customer in order to prepare for the test phase: identify the test conditions, test methods and techniques to use.

• Establish the test plan and design the test cases
• Execute the designed test cases
• Automate test cases
• Detect anomalies and malfunctions
• Report bugs detected in the project management tool used by the company and communicate to the IT development team, with a view to their correction.
• Run confirmation tests to verify that failures caused by defects identified during the testing phase no longer occur.
• Write reports on the results obtained and communicate them with the project team

Requirements

You have a passion for application testing and development. You have at least 5 years of experience in setting up test automation scripts. You are proficient in automatic testing and programming tools such as Python, Selenium, Cypress, Jira, SQL, Shell Script, Squash TA, Bacth, Robot Framework and RPA.

• Your appetite for new technologies and your excellent interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this position.
• Your ability to adapt, analyze and synthesize are major assets to best meet the expectations of our customers.
• Graduated from higher education in IT, ISTQB certification is highly appreciated.
• In addition, you want to contribute to the quality and reliability of payment applications.
• Fluency in English is essential to work on certain missions in an international context.
