Electrical Safety Test Engineer - Medical Devices M/F at SGS in Aix-en-Provence, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, France.

Responsibilities

In relation with the sales manager and the technical expert, the engineer must:

• Support the technical expert in defining the test plan for certification tests
• Carry out or supervise the carrying out of tests
• Collaborate in the writing of CE and CB test reports
• Ensure communication with the customer for the explanation and resolution of non-conformities
• Review of files
• Carrying out tests
• Entry and pre-validation of results by applying our Quality and Safety standards.

Requirements

🎯 Profile wanted

• Very good knowledge of IEC 60601-1 standards. Knowledge of the IEC 61010-1 standard is a plus.
• Significant experience in a testing laboratory
• Practice in writing test reports and mastery of written French and English
• Knowledge of the OC certification scheme (CB Scheme)

Knowledge of the CEM environment would be a plus.
