FSQS Inspection Technical Manager & Audit/Consulting Department

Role Summary

The Eurofins Micro Lab Laboratory is recruiting a Technical Inspection Manager FSQS & Audit/Consulting Department, based in Reunion. In this strategic position, you ensure compliance control, the quality of inspections and the development of audit and training activities in food hygiene.

Responsibilities

Your main missions

• Guarantee the compliance of inspections in compliance with the ISO/IEC 17020 standard and the FSQS standard.
• Supervise and lead the inspection and audit team: performance monitoring, skills development, organization and allocation of resources.
• Ensure regulatory monitoring and update inspection methods and procedures according to legal and normative developments.
• Supervise food hygiene, PMS/HACCP audits, as well as training activities, in order to maintain a high level of quality.
• Manage relationships with distribution brands and manage the qualification of inspectors as well as the regular assessment of their skills.
• Contribute to quality assurance, the treatment of non-conformities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and schedule audits and inspections, optimizing the use of resources and effectively meeting customer expectations.
• Maintain rigorous documentation: inspection reports, audits, non-conformities, in accordance with regulatory and normative requirements.
• Analyze audit results, non-conformities and the effectiveness of corrective actions to support operational improvement.
• Guarantee the impartiality of inspections by checking the absence of conflicts of interest, applying incompatibility rules, strictly compartmentalizing inspection/advice data and training teams in these principles.

Requirements

Coming from training in quality management, agri-food, food safety or a related field, you have at least 2 years of activity in the agri-food field including at least one year as an auditor or hygienist consultant in the field of mass distribution for end consumers.

You have a perfect command of

• HACCP and PMS standards,
• food safety regulations,
• the ISO 17020 and ISO 19011 standards.
• You have proven expertise in planning and scheduling audits, resource optimization and data analysis, with a strong orientation towards continuous improvement.
• With excellent communication and interpersonal relationship management skills, you know how to interact effectively with all stakeholders. Your sense of integrity and commitment to regulatory compliance are essential assets for this position.
