Role Summary

To intervene on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Welding Technician with an IWT qualification who will act as a quality inspector in the factories of manufacturers responsible for manufacturing equipment intended for major nuclear installations.

• In this capacity, you will be in charge of:
• Monitor manufacturing and control operations to verify compliance of materials with contractual requirements
• Monitor activities in the fields of mechanics, boilermaking, piping, mechanically welded structures
• Review and validate supplier documentation
• Check that security requirements are taken into account
• Issue inspection reports and follow-up documents
• Lift hold points and monitor non-compliance
• Carry out final inspections and lifting of reservations
• Monitor progress and non-conformities

Requirements

• You must hold the IWT “International Welding Technologist” diploma, you have at least 3 years of similar professional experience. You have solid knowledge of the normative environment and the requirements of the nuclear sector.
• Man/woman in the field, you are rigorous; your organizational skills, your analytical skills and your interpersonal and writing skills are major assets in your role.
• Integrity with an increased sense of responsibility, you are autonomous in your missions.
• You have a good level of technical English - B2 minimum
