Role Summary
Reporting to the Sales Director of the Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing & Bioanalyses - Phase I Clinics France entity, you will head a team in charge of prospecting and commercial development to ensure the sales of our clinical research (Optimed) and bioanalysis (ADME Bioanalyses) services.
Responsibilities
Your main missions will be to
- Define and deploy the commercial strategy in line with the financial objectives set by the general manager and commercial director,
- Create a harmonized sales team and promote exchanges and inter-departmental collaboration (~10 people, field and technical-sales Business Developers),
- Support, train, retain, motivate and challenge the sales team on a daily basis,
- Manage, organize, monitor and ensure prospecting of the European market and support for the commercial development of offers to Accounts,
- Monitor and analyze commercial KPIs (pipeline, conversion rate, project profitability),
- Ensure reliable forecasts and regular reporting to Management,
- Ensure existing customer collaboration on clinical research activity, in coordination with site management in France,
- Manage the preparation of commercial offers with the support of teams dedicated to drafting offers and using the company's IT tools,
- Negotiate framework agreements with customers, their revisions and pricing conditions,
- Manage updating the CRM (contacts, prospects, opportunities),
- Be a force for proposals in terms of organization and commercial strategy,
- Collaborate closely with scientific and operational teams to find solutions adapted to customer needs (clinical trials, bioanalyses, PK/PD, biomarkers, etc.),
- Represent the company at scientific and commercial events.
- Travel is expected, 2 to 3 days per week to customer sites or conferences in Europe.
Requirements
- With a minimum of Bac+5 scientific training (biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, medical technology), you are a true sales professional and recognized as such, you have successful experience in a similar management position in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communicator and driven by a sense of customer service and commercial negotiation, you have recognized managerial skills.
- You have good negotiation and adaptation skills to constantly changing customer demands.
- You are autonomous, rigorous, organized and have good leadership.
- Available and involved, you have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
