Electrical Safety Test Engineer - Medical Devices M/F at SGS in VOIRON, France.

Responsibilities

In relation with the sales manager and the technical expert, the engineer must:

• Support the technical expert in defining the test plan for certification tests
• Carry out or supervise the carrying out of tests
• Collaborate in the writing of CE and CB test reports
• Ensure communication with the customer for the explanation and resolution of non-conformities
• Review of files
• Carrying out tests
• Entry and pre-validation of results by applying our Quality and Safety standards.

Requirements

🎯 Profile wanted

• At least 4 years of medical experience in the “Testing, Inspection, Certification” (TIC) sector.
• Be familiar with IEC 60601-1, ISO 14971, IEC 62366-1 and IEC 62304 standards.
• Be familiar with electrical safety testing.
• Be able to regularly write test reports according to IECEE OD-2020 rules.
• Be able to explain requirements to customers if necessary.
• Bilingual written and spoken (French/English).
• Master/Engineer level or equivalent.
