Technician specialized in Aquatic Environment Ecology (M/F) – Macroinvertebrates

Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of Department and in permanent contact with the technical team, your missions will be to:

• Carry out hydrobiological sampling campaigns: IBG, IBD, Electric fishing, Water & Sediments
• Analyze macroinvertebrates (sorting/determination by genus or family)
• Actively participate in the laboratory's quality approach
• Actively participate in the laboratory's HSE approach

Requirements

With a minimum of Bac +2 training in the field of the environment, with a specialization in the study of continental aquatic environments, you have ideally acquired skills within the framework of a first professional experience in the following fields: functioning of aquatic ecosystems, methods of sampling and biological analysis, taxonomy of macroinvertebrates. Knowledge of the standards applicable to hydrobiology is a real asset.

• Ability to work outdoors and in aquatic environments
• Spirit of initiative, ability to adapt and strong autonomy
• Sensitivity to security rules

Benefits

Fixed-term contract position for a minimum period of 4 months to be filled from May 2024. Numerous weekly trips (without returning home) and throughout the country are to be expected (costs linked to these trips covered by the company).
