Traveling maintenance technician (F/M) - Châlons-en-Champagne

Role Summary

We are looking for a traveling maintenance technician (F/M) for a permanent contract.

Reporting to the Supervisor of the geographical area, you will work roaming with our customers, mainly in the North-East sector, following the mission directives received for troubleshooting interventions, preventive and corrective maintenance, repair or modification of handling equipment of our brand or other brands, and installation of new equipment with commissioning.

After a training period, your main mission will be to carry out mechanical and electrical interventions on aerial handling equipment for our customers, alone or in a team.

In this context, your main missions will be to

• Check, monitor and regularly maintain equipment (preventive maintenance),
• Detect the origin of breakdowns, establish a diagnosis, intervene in the event of breakdowns (curative),
• Implement compliance standards (quality, safety, environment),
• Propose solutions to optimize security and performance of equipment (monitoring),
• Advise and train users on equipment,
• Update technical data, provide technical support to the client(s),
• Stay on top of technological developments in products,
• Use the means of communication and applications set up by the Group,
• Make precise reports,
• Be an ambassador of the Company to the client(s).

The position may include medium-term commitments, travel and specific missions.

Requirements

• The candidate (F/M) we are looking for holds a Baccalaureate or BTS majoring in mechanics, electronics, electrotechnics or industrial maintenance with at least 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance.
• Your good interpersonal skills, your rigor, your analytical mind and your initiative skills will be assets for the position.
• Technical English preferred.
