Roving Technician “Services” F/M

Role Summary

The Riom site is part of the Life Safety Division of the EATON Group and is recognized for its R&D center of excellence, its innovation, the quality and performance of the products designed. Through a varied range of products, we design products and systems for the entire Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, the Roaming Services Technician (M/F) is responsible for commissioning and maintaining customer installations for the Fire, Security Lighting and Intrusion ranges.

• Department of Residence: 35 (South of Rennes) or 44 (North of Nantes)
• Roaming in the sector: 35 - 44 -49 - 53 -72 -22 - 56 (occasionally 50 61 29 85)

Your main missions

• Commissioning of installations: travel to the customer to ensure the commissioning of the installation, programming of the systems, functional tests and user training.
• Curative maintenance and technical assistance: intervene to make an installation presenting malfunctions functional.
• Preventive maintenance on maintenance contract: intervene at the customer who has subscribed to a maintenance contract, to check and validate the proper functioning of the installation. Provide advice to the user and provide operational training with a view to quality of service.
• Product sales: As part of his activity, the technician must ensure the development and updating of his contract portfolio by commercially monitoring contract offers and product sales.

Requirements

• BTS or DUT (electronics specialization desired);
• Experience in the installation of low current electronic equipment.
