Maintenance Technician - Teleinformation and Telecommand

Role Summary

At SGS, we continue to grow and are looking to incorporate a Technical Specialist in Maintenance of Teleinformation and Telecommand Systems to develop their activity in the province of Valladolid.

🚀 What will be your mission?

You will be responsible for the maintenance and correct functioning of the teleinformation and remote control systems associated with gas distribution and transportation infrastructures, guaranteeing the reliability of the equipment and the continuity of the service.

🧩 What will you do in your day to day life?

• Carry out comprehensive maintenance of the teleinformation and remote control facilities associated with:
• Regulation and Measurement Stations (ERM)
• Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plants
• Other gas infrastructure

Installation, configuration, replacement and removal of communication equipment and systems.

Preventive and corrective maintenance of telecontrol and telemetry equipment.

Maintenance and verification of chromatographs, as well as the logistics associated with this equipment.

Diagnosis and resolution of technical incidents in the field.

Preparation of intervention reports and monitoring of work carried out.

Coordination with clients and operation managers to guarantee the correct functioning of the facilities.

Higher Level Vocational Training in

• Industrial Automation and Robotics
• Electrotechnical and Automated Systems
• Telecommunications
• Industrial Electronics
• Or related degrees

Requirements

• Knowledge of chromatography or process instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Occupational safety training and work in industrial facilities.
• Driving license.
• Availability to travel within the area of action.
• Ability to work autonomously and focus on problem solving.
