Role Summary

Within the Purchasing and Supplier Quality Assurance Department (AQF) of our Fluid Connector System (FCS) activity, you guarantee the conformity of the components and finished products delivered and ensure control of the quality performance of suppliers.

Special knowledge

• Mechanical plan reading
• Knowledge of the bar turning industry and special processes
• Purchases of bar turning and special processes
• Purchasing techniques (sourcing, negotiations, performance evaluation, etc.)
• ERP software, ideally SAP
• Foreign language: fluency in English
• Qualities: interpersonal skills, methodical, team spirit and analytical

Responsibilities

So, your main missions are

• Ensure customer/supplier relations with rows 1 and 2 (bar turning and special processes)
• Study and analyze areas of development to guide the strategies of your panel
• Search and select new suppliers in order to secure and optimize the panel
• Manage the range of activity for the Faverges site and propose synergies with our other production sites
• Conduct negotiations and contract with suppliers

Lead the monitoring of supplier performance (quality, delivery time, cost) in conjunction with the Quality and Supply teams and deploy the risk management approach

• Participate in industrialization projects in relation to industrialization and supplier quality services
• Work on synergy opportunities with category buyers from other divisions of the group
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service
• Mobility: frequent travel in France and occasional international travel

Requirements

• Training: Bac+5 with a mechanical specialization (Engineer type), ideally followed by training in Purchasing.
• A diploma of a different level, supplemented by significant experience, is admitted
• Experience: Ideally between 5 and 10 years in purchasing mechanical products, in an industrial environment.
