Role Summary

  • Retail Merchandising
  • Budget: Analysis of sales statistics and turnover objectives with a view to determining budgets by product family and points of sale
  • Definition of purchasing and reproduction quantities by product (including consumables) and implementation by store
  • Definition of implementation waves (product mix and timing)
  • Supervision of weekly sales statistics and additional analyzes with a view to optimizing commercial performance

Optimize sell-throughs and inventory coverages for each product category.

  • Determination of commercial operations including sales, promotions and clearance
  • Wholesale
  • Preparation of the showroom, invitation of customers and prospects
  • Presentation of the collection to customers and integration of their orders
  • Preparation of shipments and logistics and accounting coordination
  • Analyzes of sell in and sell out sales
  • Supply

Management of inventory allocation and their optimization in qualitative, quantitative, geographical and calendar terms (location, restocking, transfers, returns, openings and closings, etc.) across all channels (retail, ecommerce, marketplace, outlets)

  • Stock control (recoding, stock consistency)
  • Clearance (outlet & partner op & VAP & defective)
  • Monthly stock summary & stock quality analysis
  • Assortment plan by clearance channel, outlet implementation and operation schedule and link with management control for budget definition
  • Identification of needs and stock coverage by family and operation
  • Definition of offers (assortment, quantities, pricing), contractualization
  • Supply, restocking and end-of-season returns from outlets
  • Definition of outlet commercial operations
  • Sales analysis
  • Post-sales follow-up (logistics, accounting, returns)

Requirements

  • Higher education Bac+4/5 in business school, merchandising, supply chain, management or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (5 years minimum) in merchandising, planning, procurement or stock management, ideally in the fashion, retail or luxury sector.
  • Mastery of sales forecasting, stock allocation and budget construction techniques.
  • Strong ability to analyze commercial performance and management indicators (sell-in, sell-out, sell-through, margin, stock coverage).
  • Very good command of Excel and reporting tools.
  • Good knowledge of retail, wholesale, e-commerce and outlet environments.
  • Fluent professional English.
  • Strong capacity for analysis and synthesis, sense of organization, autonomy, responsiveness and results orientation.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders
