Role Summary

Our client works on

• Studies of transport and logistics services
• the organization of transport with a network of colleagues meeting our specifications
• national and international chartering

As an Operator, reporting to the operations manager, you supervise a team of drivers and yourself manage the administrative part linked to the operation of various clients.

Responsibilities

• Operation of the agency's own fleet
• prepare tours and adjust trucking resources
• create all routes on operating software
• monitor and control loading operations and adjust as necessary
• manage relationships with drivers
• process goods left at the dock
• track delivery indicators
• Chartering
• Establish charter files
• organize and monitor the delivery of goods
• choosing charters (in terms of travel time cost and quality)
• negotiate rates and deadlines with charterers
• develop and monitor the portfolio of existing clients
• ensure compliance with transport regulations

Requirements

• Holder of a Bac +2/+3 transport / Logistics you have a first experience of at least 4 years in the same type of position.
• You have good interpersonal skills, are customer service oriented and want to join a family SME recognized in your region.
• You have good command of IT tools and are experienced in the Transport sector in the Lyon and Stéphanoise regions.
