Role Summary

The Procurement Management Specialist is responsible for implementing “Source-to-Contract” purchasing processes, in accordance with company objectives and industry best practices. He/she ensures compliance with purchasing policies and procedures and contributes to supplier diversity and sustainable development initiatives. This position also plays a key role in supporting supplier management activities, implementing continuous improvement projects and developing supplier operational excellence on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in “Source-to-Contract” purchasing processes, in accordance with company objectives and industry best practices, while ensuring their alignment with the strategic vision defined for each purchasing category.
  • Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures as well as the company's requirements in terms of supplier diversity and sustainable development, by implementing tactical processes to create value.
  • Carry out supplier management activities, consistent with the category's SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) strategy, by promoting a collaborative and innovative approach in interactions with suppliers, particularly during negotiations and workshops.

Apply risk control and mitigation plans, developed in collaboration with Category Managers, by making an operational contribution to monitoring supplier performance and by identifying and reporting purchasing-related risks, in order to protect the interests of the organization and preserve its operational resilience.

  • Ensure excellence across all contract execution activities, including Source-to-Contract and Requisition-to-Pay processes, by implementing strategies to identify inefficiencies in process design and execution.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects initiated by the PSC team, by cultivating and reinforcing a true spirit of adaptability and innovation within purchasing operations.
  • Continuously develop your skills and expertise by purchasing category, in accordance with your individual development and learning path.
  • Actively contribute to the success of the team's objectives, ensuring that performance objectives and expected results are achieved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field. In the absence of a diploma, relevant and equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, Supply Chain or in a similar function related to business or operations.
  • Prior experience in procurement activities, including Source-to-Contract, Requisition-to-Pay processes and negotiation.
  • Good command of the Microsoft Office suite, as well as Power Platform tools.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA is a real plus.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry would be an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and decision-making skills, as well as strong autonomy, allowing you to maintain an effective level of performance in complex or demanding situations and to promote the search for consensus in decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, combined with a true solutions-oriented mindset, enabling creative approaches and communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Fluency in French and English.
