Role Summary

Management of delivery routes

You are able to take, postpone or remove means and you are an essential player in monitoring and evaluating the supplier.

You optimize deliveries and routes with a view to constantly optimizing deadlines and costs (in accordance with the budget).

Responsibilities

Your missions will be

• transmit the routes to the carriers
• lead the relationship with the drivers
• provide relevant information to customer service
• ensure the daily relationship with the transporter and the filling centers
• participate and lead carrier meetings
• propose corrective actions in the event of a malfunction

Requirements

• With a Bac+2 type training in distribution logistics or industrial logistics, you have 2 years of experience in distribution logistics and more particularly in route optimization and stock management.
• You master office tools, time management, organization and planning.
• You have ease in written and oral communication and have real writing skills. Your team spirit and your ability to listen give you a certain leadership role over the carrier teams.
• You are resistant to stress and know how to manage change. You are committed and involved.

About the Company

Manpower RECRUITMENT CABINET DU GRAND LYON is looking for a Dispatcher (M/F) for its client, supplier of butane and propane gas.

Your missions will be

• plan deliveries (fixed and occasional) to customers,
• optimize the allocation of customer orders in compliance with Primagaz rules and regulations
• Organize and optimize tours
• organize deliveries/collections of lockers
• analyze tour feedback and reschedule customers
• ensure the consistency of the stock level of consumption and the number of visits to customers
• check the adequacy of forecast implementation (kilometers, hours, tolls, volumes, etc.)
• request a tour redesign outside of the annual plan planned by the coordinator
• Warehouse supply
• You optimize supplies to warehouses while ensuring quality customer service and with a permanent concern for cost adjustment

Your missions will be

• to supply warehouses according to customer needs and stock levels in compliance with the rules and regulations
• permanently ensure consistency between the warehouse stock level and the warehouse capacity (regulations)
• carry out a consistency check between the accounting stock and the physical stock entered in the stock journal
• Animation of the entrusted territory
• You manage the daily relationship with service providers and their drivers
