Role Summary
Selection, evaluation and approval of new suppliers as well as implementation of supplier risk management.
Planning and carrying out system, process and product audits for suppliers according to recognized standards (e.g. VDA 6.3).
Ensuring compliance with product release processes (PPAP/PPF/FAI) including complete documentation.
Analysis of quality problems with suppliers and initiation, follow-up and effectiveness testing of corrective measures.
Support strategic procurement projects through technical assessments, capacity analyzes and supplier qualification.
Close collaboration with purchasing, engineering and quality departments to continuously improve supplier quality and minimize quality risks.
Requirements
- Completed technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive technology) or comparable technical training with relevant professional experience.
- Certification as a process auditor according to VDA 6.3 required.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in quality management, ideally in the area of supplier quality.
- Experience in conducting supplier, system and process audits as well as working with international suppliers.
- In-depth knowledge of PPAP/PPF/FAI, APQP, FMEA, SPC, control plans and 8D methodology.
- Good knowledge of relevant quality and management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and/or IRIS) as well as regulatory requirements such as IMDS, RoHS and REACH.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills.
- Analytical, structured and assertive personality with strong communication, moderation and problem-solving skills as well as willingness to travel (approx. 50%).
