Role Summary

Java Backend with OpenShift and PostgreSQL

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to work on the development and support of mission-critical applications, using microservices architecture and modern technologies. The professional will be responsible for developing scalable, secure and high-availability solutions, working together with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Backend applications using Java, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud;
• Develop and consume REST APIs;
• Model and optimize queries in PostgreSQL database;
• Deploy and manage applications in OpenShift;
• Integrate Backend services with Frontend applications developed in React;
• Participate in code reviews (Code Review), unit tests and continuous integration;
• Analyze incidents and implement performance, scalability and security improvements;

Work together with Architecture, QA, DevOps and Product teams.

• Mandatory requirements
• Solid experience in Java Backend development;
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud;
• Experience with Microservices architecture;
• PostgreSQL database;
• Docker containers;
• OpenShift Platform;
• Development and integration of REST APIs;
• Version control using Git;

Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).

• Experience with React;
• Knowledge of CI/CD, especially using GitHub Actions;

Experience in Cloud environments (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure).

• Position conditions
• 100% remote operation;
• Availability for a future move to Portugal or Spain is mandatory, if necessary for project reasons, company strategy or legal requirements;
• While in Brazil, the work will be carried out entirely remotely;
