Role Summary

Java Backend – AI-Assisted Code Analyst

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to work on code analysis, review and optimization using Generative Artificial Intelligence tools. The professional will work on the evolution of critical applications, reducing technical debt, improving software quality and supporting the adoption of modern development practices in an agile and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design of solutions and software architecture;
• Review, improve and optimize source code using advanced AI tools and good development practices;
• Document solutions and technical evolutions in JIRA, Confluence and/or ALM;
• Analyze applications developed in Java and Spring Boot, ensuring quality, scalability and ease of maintenance;
• Utilize AI tools, like GitHub Copilot and Devin, to accelerate code reviews, refactoring, and documentation;
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement;
• Support the implementation of good practices in both Backend and Frontend development;
• Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD processes;

Interact with production support teams to monitor and resolve demands.

• Mandatory requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Developer;
• Practical experience with Artificial Intelligence tools for development, such as:
• GitHub Copilot;
• Devin;
• Experience in improving code quality and reducing technical debt;

• Strong knowledge of software security and quality using tools such as:

• Experience with Cloud platforms and distributed systems;
• Knowledge of Treasury, Financial Market or Financial Services products;
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Interest in new technologies and innovation;
• Good communication, collaboration and teamwork.
• Availability to work on-call or shifts, when necessary;
• Ease of working in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

Training

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field.

• Position conditions
• 100% remote operation;
• Availability for a future move to Portugal or Spain is mandatory, if necessary for project reasons, company strategy or legal requirements;
• While in Brazil, the work will be carried out entirely remotely;
