Role Summary

Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Capital Markets Business Analyst)

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work on strategic Capital Market projects, providing the interface between the business and technology areas. The professional will be responsible for translating complex financial products into functional requirements, supporting the evolution of front-to-back platforms and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in an agile and innovation-driven environment.

Minimum of 4 years of experience as

• Business Analyst;
• Functional Analyst;
• Product Analyst;
• Product Owner;

or equivalent function.

Business knowledge

Experience in Financial Services, preferably in

• Corporate & Investment Banking;
• Capital Market;
• Post Trade;
• Operations;
• Risk;
• Treasury;

Front-to-Back Platforms.

• Solid knowledge of financial instruments and the life cycle of operations;
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following asset classes:
• Derivatives;
• Fixed Income;
• Monetary Market;
• Variable Income;
• Foreign Exchange (FX);
• FX Options;
• Repos;
• Asset Lending (Securities Lending);

Structured Products.

Experience in preparing

• Functional specifications;
• Business rules;
• Data mappings;
• Test scenarios;
• UAT materials;

Evidence of validation in production.

Knowledge of SQL and Excel for data analysis;

Experience working with Development, QA and Product teams;

In-depth knowledge of FX and FX Options, including

• Spot;
• forward;
• Swap;
• Vanilla Options;
• FLEX Options;
• Pricing Sources;

Hedging Strategies.

Experience with trading and post-trading platforms, such as

• Murex;
• Calypso;
• DTCC;
• Icelink;
• WHO;
• Reuters Electronic Trading;

or similar.

Knowledge in

• Confirmations;
• Matching;
• Reconciliation;
• P Controls
• Accounting Processes;

Regulatory Processes.

Experience with

Profile aimed at automating Business Analysis activities using AI, scripts and productivity tools.

• Position conditions
• 100% remote operation;
• Availability for a future move to Portugal or Spain is mandatory, if necessary for project reasons, company strategy or legal requirements;
• While in Brazil, the work will be carried out entirely remotely;

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document functional and business requirements;
• Translate complex financial products into business rules, functional specifications, data mappings and acceptance criteria;
• Develop test scenarios, materials for UAT and validation evidence in production;
• Work together with Development teams, QA, Product Owners and business areas;
• Support initiatives related to the complete life cycle of financial operations (Front-to-Back);
• Perform data analysis using SQL and Excel;
• Work with agile methodologies using Jira and Confluence;
• Use Artificial Intelligence tools to increase productivity in documentation, requirements analysis, automation and other Business Analysis activities.
