Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SDET, with solid experience in test automation and technical background in Python and SQL, to join the quality team of an international company in the entertainment sector.
The professional will be responsible for defining automation strategies, creating and executing test cases, and ensuring the quality and stability of solutions in a data environment and cloud applications.
Availability to work in the United States time zone and good communication in English (level B2 or higher) are essential.
Responsibilities
- Define, document and maintain the team/project's test automation strategy.
- Analyze project documents and technical requirements to develop test cases.
- Create and maintain automated and manual test cases.
- Implement and optimize automation scripts (Python, Selenium).
- Run automation suites and perform results validation.
- Manage defect cycles: opening, monitoring and revalidation.
- Prepare and communicate progress reports, metrics and final tests.
- Actively participate in meetings with cross-functional teams, aligning quality, schedule and deliveries.
Mandatory Requirements
- +5 years of proven experience as SDET, QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Python (Advanced) automation, test integration and data manipulation.
- SQL (Expert) writing complex queries, joins, views and data validation.
- Test Strategies (Advanced) planning, coverage and types of tests (functional, integration, regression, performance).
- Selenium (Intermediate) UI test automation and integration with Python frameworks (PyTest, Behave, etc.).
- Cloud Environments (Intermediate) knowledge of running and integrating tests on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Availability to work in the US time zone.
- English B2 verbal and written communication in an international environment.
- Differentiators (Desirable)
- Experience with Snowflake, Airflow or Spark.
- Experience with Data Pipelines (ETL, data integration tests).
- Experience in AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, Glue, etc.).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience in the entertainment or digital media sector.
