Responsibilities

The Functional Analyst will work closely with Business, Architecture, Development, QA, DevOps and other technology teams, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable and secure solutions aligned with technology standards and strategic objectives.

• The selected candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, defining functional specifications and collaborating closely with development teams, ensuring the successful implementation of back-end solutions based on Java and Spring Boot technologies.
• The role includes defining solution behavior, validating functional designs, coordinating with business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet functional, quality and business requirements through comprehensive testing and acceptance activities.
• Use Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies to accelerate requirements analysis, transform business needs into technical specifications, improve documentation quality, support test definition and identify opportunities to increase delivery efficiency and solution quality.

Requirements

Business Analyst (AI - Artificial Intelligence) - Remote (Portugal)

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Employee Analyst in IT projects, preferably in banking or financial systems contexts.
• Practical knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence and its application to the software development and delivery cycle.
• Experience using AI-based development assistants, Prompt Engineering techniques and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Advanced level of English, minimum C1.
