About the opportunity

We are looking for a Backend Java Developer to join our team and work on modernizing the commissioning system. This is your chance to apply your knowledge of Java and Spring to design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring robust integration between systems.

What will you do here

Develop backend solutions in Java, focusing on modernizing the SAP commissioning system.

Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring robust integration between systems.

Define and apply architectural patterns and best practices in Spring.

Conduct technical code reviews, helping to maintain system quality.

Support the integration of DevOps processes, including deployment automation and application monitoring.

Perform optimizations and adjustments to the database to improve performance and availability.

What We Hope You Know

Advanced knowledge of Java development and use of the Spring framework.

Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Integration with relational databases (e.g.: PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Solid knowledge of backend architecture principles and patterns.

Practice with versioning tools (e.g. Git).

Execution and basic monitoring of CI/CD pipelines.

Which would be really cool if you knew

Previous experience in modernization or integration of SAP systems.

Knowledge of API security and good authentication/authorization practices.

Familiarity with Docker containers and orchestration via Kubernetes.

Experience with advanced DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.

Ability to model data in complex scenarios.
