WORKS INSPECTOR - Sorocaba/SP and Region

Role Summary

Responsible for monitoring activities related to pavement restoration and highway signage works. Supervising the execution of services according to approved and updated projects, checking technical compliance and quality of work;

• Monitor the execution of pavement restoration services, earthworks, drainage, containment, OAE, signage, etc.;
• Verify the technical compliance of the services performed with the approved projects and
• current standards and contractual specifications;
• Ensure the quality of the materials used and the correct execution of construction processes;

Supervise asphalt paving services, asphalt pavement recycling, pavement rejuvenation with asphalt micro-coating, respecting standards, procedures and service specifications;

• Document activities carried out in the field, including photographic records and
• detailed technical reports;
• Carry out quantity control of works, supporting the responsible engineer in

monthly measurements of contractors, and informing them of occurrences in the works (non-conformities, project modifications, etc.), measuring the quantities carried out by contractors, using a tape measure, beginning and end stakes, and activating team support;

• Monitor technological control services, specimen extraction and
• samples assigned to similar functions whenever necessary or requested by
• management;
• Carry out activities in accordance with the CCR Group's Golden Rules, so as to
• to prevent the occurrence of unsafe behaviors, aiming to contribute to prevention and
• in full monitoring of work routines;

Notify the contractor, stop or release service fronts, fail/approve tests, mediating project doubts, representing the responsible engineer on highly complex works fronts;

Report deviations or nonconformities found during the execution of services and

propose corrective actions.

Requirements

• Complete high school;
• Technical course in the Civil area;
• 6 months experience in the position;
• driver's license;
• Advanced Office Package;
• Mastery of reading and interpreting projects and technical documents;
• Knowledge of testing laboratory and plant processes (paving);

Knowledge of road works inspection processes (earthworks).
