Role Summary

Responsible for monitoring, verifying, validating and recording the execution of services related to pavement recovery, taking into account technical standards and procedures defined by the client. In addition, you must control the calibration of equipment involved in field tests and remove samples for testing. This professional must monitor the services in the field.

  • Supervise on-site the execution of pavement restoration
  • Check whether the service performed corresponds to the approved executive project
  • Check service fronts, executive methods and construction sequence
  • Analyze and sign Service Release Forms
  • Geometric and dimensional control
  • Conference on: Apparent thicknesses / Areas executed / Surface regularity / Alignments and inclinations
  • Support for surveying quantities for measurement
  • Visual and operational inspection - Finishing / Apparent compaction / Visual segregations / Construction defects / Record field non-conformities
  • Verify the technical compliance of the services performed with the approved projects and

current standards and contractual specifications.

Ensure the quality of materials used and the correct execution of processes

constructive.

Document activities carried out in the field, including photographic records and

detailed technical reports.

  • Carry out quantity control of works, supporting the responsible engineer in
  • monthly measurements of contractors, and inform you of occurrences in the works (do not
  • conformities, project modifications, etc.), measuring the quantities carried out by
  • hired, using a tape measure, start and end stakes, and activating support from the

topography.

Monitor technological control services, specimen extraction and

samples assigned to similar functions whenever necessary or requested by

management.

Notify the contractor, stop or release service fronts, disapprove / approve

tests, intermediating project doubts, representing the responsible engineer

on the fronts of highly complex works.

Report deviations or nonconformities found during the execution of services and

propose corrective actions.

  • Contribute to the elimination of safety risk situations at work,
  • complying with internal standards and pre-established procedures and
  • assisting the Safety Technician in investigating the use of safety equipment

security by outsourced companies.

Requirements

  • Complete high school;
  • Technical course in the Civil area;
  • 6 months experience in the position;
  • driver's license;
  • Advanced Office Package;
  • Mastery of reading and interpreting projects and technical documents;
  • Knowledge of testing laboratory and plant processes (paving);

Knowledge of road works inspection processes (earthworks).
