Responsibilities
Your tasks at a glance
- Budgeting & Forecasting: You support the creation of the sales budget, develop sales forecasts and monitor budget implementation to derive suitable measures.
- Sales analyzes & performance evaluation: You analyze sales data, evaluate key performance indicators and identify trends, opportunities and risks for further growth.
- Planning & KPI control: You will be involved in the creation of sales plans and sales goals, develop relevant KPIs and promote the achievement of goals through suitable control mechanisms.
- Price & profitability analyses: You analyze sales prices, cost structures and competitive factors and support the development of optimal pricing strategies.
- Reporting & management presentations: You create meaningful reports and presentations, analyze target deviations and prepare decision templates for management.
- Business Partnering: You work closely with sales, marketing, finance and accounting and ensure cross-departmental exchange of information.
- Optimization & further development: You derive recommendations for action from your analyzes and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and sales strategies.
Requirements

- Successfully completed business studies with a focus on controlling or a comparable subject
- Several years of professional experience in sales controlling or a comparable position, ideally in a manufacturing FMCG company
- Sound knowledge of sales analysis, sales planning and performance management
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare and present complex contexts in an understandable manner
- Strong communication skills, hands-on mentality and a results-oriented way of working
- Confident use of Excel and experience with SAP ERP or S/4HANA, SAP BW and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English

This position requires a minimum salary of classification IV 1.u.2. Year(s) provided for in the collective agreement for the chemical industry for employees. There is a willingness to overpay, depending on your qualifications and previous professional experience.
