Role Summary
Monitoring and control of the conveyor technology inside and outside the high-bay warehouse using the visualization/control computer
Ensuring the flow of materials by troubleshooting the conveyor technology (RBG, etc.) and the integrated machines (MSB winder) as well as recording them (faults and defects in the conveyor technology) under the aspect of time-related disruptions
Monitoring the warehouse filling levels in the high-bay warehouse area
Relocation of pallets to other warehouses or to reserve locations as well as warehouse reorganization
Coordination of transfers between the warehouses and preparation of written instructions/accompanying documents, vehicle checks with dangerous goods loads (ADR checks if necessary)
- Monitoring of blocked places in the high-bay warehouse as well as defective/open transports
- Approval and monitoring of replenishment transports for other warehouses/circular picking
- Monitoring and processing incorrect orders
- Cancellation or break bookings in the system for inventory or order correction, possibly rescheduling
- Splitting of production orders
- Monitoring of the wall and roof flap controls (high-bay warehouse) as well as temperature limits in the high-bay warehouse and server room
- Internal contact person for the department’s IT systems
Requirements
- You enjoy working in a team and are characterized by a reliable and flexible way of working. In addition, you have the following qualifications:
- Completed training as a warehouse clerk (m/f/d) or warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)
- Alternatively: Other completed training and at least two years of professional experience in the warehouse area
- Very good technical understanding
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of electronic warehouse management systems
- Forklift license
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German
- Altitude suitability
- Willingness to work 3 shifts in alternating shifts
- Willingness to work Saturdays if required
- Willingness for further training
- Willingness to arrange flexible working hours
