Role Summary

BUSINESS ANALYTICS INTERNAL

Permanent position, full-time · Berlin (HQ)

PROFITABILITY ANALYSIS AND ENERGY DATA MODELING

• You carry out profitability calculations for industrial customers, prepare energy data and develop models for evaluating various energy supply solutions.

WORKFLOW AUTOMATION AND PROCESS OPTIMIZATION

• You identify recurring processes and develop data-based automation solutions that make our internal processes more efficient and scalable.

ENERGY SIMULATIONS AND BATTERY CONTROL

• You use Python-based simulations for energy industry use cases and further develop them - for example for intelligent control of battery storage or for evaluating innovative supply solutions.

DATA ANALYSIS AND VISUALIZATION

• You analyze energy, price and commercial data, identify relevant relationships and prepare your findings in meaningful visualizations for case studies, the website, sales activities and internal stakeholders.

AFTER SIX WEEKS: ONBOARDING

• You understand Trawa's business model, our products, customers and central energy industry connections.
• You are familiar with our data structures, simulation tools and analysis processes and can carry out initial analyzes independently with the support of the team.

IN THE THIRD MONTH: RAMP-UP

• You independently implement a project in one of the areas of data analysis, workflow automation, profitability analysis or energy simulation.
• You support the creation of customer-specific offers by analyzing energy, price and commercial data and translating simulation results into clear recommendations for action.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will automate workflows, analyze commercial metrics and gain valuable insights from complex data. You will also work on energy simulations and further develop Python-based tools together with our team - for example for simulating battery storage or evaluating innovative energy supply solutions.

• The internship offers you comprehensive practical experience at the interface of analytics and the energy industry. You will gain insights into a fast-paced environment and then have the opportunity to switch to a working student role.

• Data analysis and profitability calculations: You analyze extensive energy and price data from our customers and use our simulation tools to carry out detailed profitability calculations for various energy supply solutions.
• Simulations and offer creation: You evaluate simulation results and support the team in developing tailor-made and data-based offers for potential customers - for example for battery storage and innovative supply solutions.
• Process automation and project work: You independently implement projects to automate and optimize data and analysis processes. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams on specific customer and product applications.
• Research and further development: You research scientific publications as well as new regulatory developments in the areas of energy and sustainability and check their relevance for our projects. At the same time, you will continually develop your knowledge of data science, process automation and software development.

Requirements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, economics or a related field.
• You have initial experience in the field of data science and strong analytical skills.
• You have basic knowledge of Python for data analysis.
• You have a good understanding of economic relationships.
• Initial practical work experience is an advantage.
• You speak German and English fluently.
• The internship takes place on site in Berlin. Working from home on a daily basis is possible.
