What is the international team?

Our International Direct Sales team is responsible for building and evolving the digital channels that serve our resellers in Portugal and Colombia, in addition to solutions used by commercial teams to manage the reseller portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • What will your daily life be like?
  • Technically lead the design, architecture and evolution of distributed ecosystems in the Backend ( ), ensuring fluid integration with Web and Mobile applications (React/Flutter);
  • Evolution and continuous improvement of our solutions in terms of software quality, processes, performance and new features;
  • Define and direct architectural standards to ensure resilience, high availability, scalability and low latency under high request load;
  • Carry out the technical refinement of complex initiatives, evaluating technical feasibility and supporting the product team in defining the long-term vision of the solutions;
  • Guide the team in the use of good software engineering practices (Clean Code, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns and SOLID) applied to both the Backend and the Frontend and Mobile ecosystem;
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to the team's developers, guiding them in designing solutions and resolving complex architectural and operational bottlenecks;
  • Promote and establish a rigorous code review culture, ensuring the quality and technical maintainability of the software;
  • Support our distributed solutions, acting as a technical bridge between backend and client-side engineers (web/mobile) in the team;
  • Document architecture and technical decisions whenever necessary;
  • Ensure the team's alignment with the Group's software architecture and information security directives;
  • Ensure the technical health of applications by monitoring APM, API error rates, latency and database health;
  • Design and evolve the architecture of distributed systems, ensuring high availability, resilience and low latency under high request load;

Coordinate and structure complex release strategies (Canary, Feature Flags and Remote Config) integrating deployment of backend services with app/web releases.

Requirements

  • What do you need to have or know?
  • Focus on Backend: Solid proficiency in Node.js; and modern server-side ecosystem;
  • Technical Leadership: Experience working as a Tech Lead or Technical Software Architect in high-performance multifunctional teams;
  • Fullstack Vision and Architecture: Deep architectural knowledge about the lifecycle and integration of client-side applications on Web (React) and Mobile (Flutter);
  • Software Architecture: Advanced knowledge of Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, Design Patterns and resilience patterns;
  • Distributed Systems and Databases: Proficiency in the use of messaging/queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), caching mechanisms (Redis) and relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB);
  • Cloud and Serverless: Experience with Cloud architectures and Serverless solutions (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, etc.);
  • DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure: Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Bitrise) and understanding the backend deployment flow and app distribution (Android/iOS);
  • Software Quality: Mastery of automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end and load/stress testing);
  • Observability and APM: Experience in continuous monitoring of the technical health of applications (Logs, Tracing, Metrics, APM);
  • Internationalization: Knowledge of software internationalization strategies (i18n, multiple time zones and currencies);

Global Languages and Tools: Mastery of Git flows (Gitflow, GitHub Flow, GitLab Flow) and remote parameterization tools/Feature Flags (ConfigCat, Firebase Remote Config).
