Funding Squad — B2B & B2P E-commerce

We operate in the financial heart of the B2B and B2P e-commerce department, managing industry incentive funds for distributors and retailers. Unlike traditional e-commerces focused on high traffic, our biggest challenge is the extremely high business criticality: we operate with a base of around 50 users, but we process transactions and orders worth hundreds of thousands of reais. It is the ideal opportunity for those looking for autonomy, technical decisions based on cost-benefit and a direct impact on the company's financial results.

On a day-to-day basis as a Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Development and architecture: Design, code, test, deploy and maintain end-to-end scalable applications in Kotlin and React;

Leadership by authority: Act as a technical reference within the squad without hierarchical management, guiding the team in making decisions aligned with business results;

Sustainable technical evolution: Conduct the organic transition of applications while maintaining continuous deliveries and avoiding changes driven by fads (overengineering);

Operational Excellence: Ensure platform stability through observability and deep root cause analysis (RCA) to reduce incidents;

Mentoring and culture: Carry out critical Code Reviews, apply Pair Programming and support the technical development of the team's developers;

Use of AI and FinOps: Promote the conscious use of Generative AI tools and cloud cost optimization practices.

Differential

Experience using the Quarkus framework and native compilation;

Experience in technical migrations;

Platform Engineering mentality (creating reusable solutions).

Requirements

Technical requirements

• Polyglot Executor Profile: Technical mastery to code productively in , Kotlin and React;
• Fundamentals and Quality: Solid knowledge in Design Patterns (Clean Code, SOLID, KISS, DRY), Well-Architected Framework, Test Pyramid and API integration, Webhooks, Messaging;
• Evolutionary Architecture: Practical experience with orchestrated and choreographed architectures, Monolithic Architecture and Microservices, DDD and coexistence strategies between different stacks during migrations;
• Data and Persistence: Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and decision making based on theorems (PIE and CAP);
• AI for Engineering: Experience in using Generative AI tools applied to software development;
• Cloud, Containers & DevOps: Advanced experience in AWS architecture, containerization and modern CI/CD pipelines;
• Excellence in Observability: Mastery of practices (SRE) and tools (NewRelic, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) of the 3 pillars of Observability (Logs, Metrics and Trace) to guarantee the health and visibility of the operation;
• Communication and Influence: Ability to engage and motivate changes in different teams, gaining the trust of peers and partners inside and outside the team.
