What is the mission of the position?

Ensure the quality of product delivery in the best possible way and at the same time develop, maintain and evolve our Quality processes with a focus on automation.

Responsibilities

  • What will your day-to-day activities be?
  • Implement and disseminate the quality culture within the team and within related projects.
  • Create a partnership relationship with the development area so that there is alignment for the creation and evolution of the project.
  • Perform manual and automated functional tests, in order to guarantee the quality of delivery.
  • Evaluate and mitigate possible bugs (code/product/production) that may appear during project development.
  • Understand demand and business rules to ensure quality of delivery and alignment between projects.
  • Actively participate in the team's agile rites.
  • Perform exploratory and integrated tests, based on requirements defined by the client (internal / external).
  • Understand API design and standards to perform tests to meet the project's diverse demands.
  • Hold meetings with the client to align demands.
  • Identify new tools and innovations that are suitable for the project, considering the particularities of the context in which it is inserted.
  • Create and improve documents that facilitate the use of the product for the user based on guidance received from leaders and architects.
  • Conduct a survey of test scenarios, identifying basic and alternative flows.
  • Prepare mass of data for executing test scenarios.
  • Collaborate in collecting data to create metrics and generate estimates to deliver to the client.
  • Prepare the test environment to start testing following demands.
  • Apply appropriate testing concepts to ensure delivery quality.
  • Perform continuous integration to perform test automation.
  • Prepare material and provide knowledge transfer after completion of the project.

Requirements

What are the mandatory requirements for this position?

  • Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and related frameworks such as: Cucumber or Specflow;
  • Experience in analyzing use cases and test scenarios;
  • Experience with test automation, in a programming language, such as: Javascript, Java or NodeJS;
  • Experience in test automation tools such as: Cucumber, JUnit, Postman/Newman, REST Assured, JMeter;
  • Experience with a CI/CD tool such as: Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines or Gitlab;
  • Experience with testing Microservices and processing queues such as RabbitMQ;
  • Experience in versioning with Git;
  • Database experience (SQL, NoSQL);
  • Have worked in agile teams;
  • Have a view of the entire solution delivery cycle and propose improvements.
  • Knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs;
  • Strong sense of critical analysis and validation of problems in the application and consultation of logs to extract and open bugs for the development team;
