Role Summary

The QA Engineer will be responsible for evolving the squads' test automation strategy by incorporating AI as a central part of the quality assurance process.

Evolve the squads’ test automation strategy, incorporating AI as a central part of the process.

Create and maintain Skills, Rules, Agents and other AI artifacts applied to QA (test case generation, coverage analysis, regression detection).

Organize technical QA documentation for consumption by AI models (test cases, business rules, critical scenarios).

Structure quality reusable knowledge bases (scenarios, test data, validation rules).

Continuously research new AI tools and techniques applied to testing and automation.

Create automations that reduce manual work from repetitive and regressive tests.

Participate in test architecture and quality decisions.

Act as a technical counterpart in defining quality standards.

Produce clear and reusable documentation of testing strategies.

Share knowledge with the entire team through training, documentation and practical examples.

Help other team members get the most out of AI tools applied to QA.

Requirements

What is essential

Complete higher education in Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development or related areas.
Experience with test strategy and planning (functional, regression, integration).
Experience with practical use of generative AI (LLMs) applied to QA (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar) to generate and maintain tests.
Experience with prompt engineering for generating test cases and test data.
Experience with AI agents for test execution and triage.
Experience with AI-assisted testing tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar).
Experience with test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar).
Experience with Git versioning and technical QA documentation (test plans, quality reports).

And it will be a difference if you have

Background in testing HR systems, payroll or messaging services (eSocial).
Experience testing products for the public sector, with attention to regulatory compliance.
Experience creating QA automation tools.
Participation in the definition of quality standards.
Knowledge of DevOps or CI/CD.
Experience with on-premises and legacy systems.
Production of technical content on quality and automation.
CTFL certification (cited in the PR as an example of a desirable certification, without confirmation of requirement).
