Junior Software Test Engineer (QA)

We are looking for a Junior Software Test Engineer to work on the QA team, contributing to the quality and reliability of our solutions. This position will have an important role in the development and execution of tests, working in partnership with different teams and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality processes.

• Create and maintain automated tests;
• Analyze failures and investigate unexpected behaviors;
• Develop and maintain the test automation framework;
• Automate API testing;
• Support the automation of performance tests;
• Monitor and analyze the results of test runs;
• Work with integration and test execution via Jenkins;
• Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines;
• Support the configuration and maintenance of test environments;
• Have contact with infrastructure and services in AWS;
• Use AI to support test generation and optimization;

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools and practices.

• Basic knowledge of programming logic;
• Basic knowledge of programming, such as variables, conditions, loops and functions;
• Understanding of software testing and identification of positive and negative scenarios and validations;
• Logical reasoning and ability to divide problems into steps;
• Interest in test automation and software quality;
• Ability to investigate and pay attention to details;
• Organization and clarity in communication;

Availability to learn new tools and technologies.

Requirements

You will differentiate yourself if you have

• Experience or knowledge in test automation;
• Knowledge of some automated testing framework;
• Knowledge in API testing;
• Knowledge of performance testing;
• Familiarity with Jenkins and/or CI/CD pipelines;
• Understanding AWS;
• Experience with automation or testing tools;
• Knowledge or interest in applying AI to software testing;

Academic or personal projects related to programming, QA or automation.
