Responsibilities

• Integration and administration of Microsoft cloud technologies such as M365, Azure, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint and Exchange Online
• Planning, implementing and managing Microsoft server and client infrastructures
• Analysis and resolution of complex disruptions and problems in the IT infrastructure
• Ensuring system stability, security and availability through proactive monitoring and maintenance
• Manage and configure cross-site network infrastructure, including VPN, switches, routers and firewalls
• Implementation, operation and maintenance of virtualization solutions such as VMware and Proxmox
• Provision and operation of applications in an enterprise environment both on-premise and in the cloud
• Control of service providers in projects to introduce centrally provided managed services
• Collaboration on IT projects to optimize, consolidate and expand the existing IT landscape
• Use of automation and artificial intelligence to improve the IT processes and solutions provided
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as training of IT employees and end users
• Support with certification-relevant audits (e.g. ISO27001)
• Collaborate with IT teams within the group to ensure smooth integration and functionality of systems

Requirements

Completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable training with relevant professional experience.

• Several years of experience in administration and support of Microsoft server and client systems
• In-depth knowledge of network engineering, including routing, switching and firewall management
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Proxmox
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies such as Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Exchange Online
• Experience in managing service providers and implementing IT projects
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence and its possible applications
• Linux knowledge is an advantage
• Certifications such as MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate, CCNA or comparable qualifications are an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• High degree of initiative as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written
