Dispatcher (m/f/d) with a focus on construction site deployment planning & truck technology at SWARCO AG in Ratekau, SH, Germany.

Role Summary

• Disposition and deployment planning of company-owned truck, motor vehicle and excavator fleets for our assembly construction sites
• Disposition and operational planning of the civil engineering and assembly crews in coordination with the operations manager, site managers and foremen
• Coordination of transport for construction site deliveries (e.g. bulk goods, construction machinery, building materials)
• Technical coordination with external workshops on the usability of the vehicles
• Monitoring of maintenance intervals, TÜV, SP appointments, etc. and repair measures
• Close cooperation with the operations manager, construction managers, foremen, skilled workers/fitters and external service providers
• Carrying out driver training and instructions
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations (StVO, BFStrMG, load securing, etc.)

Requirements

• Completed training in the field of forwarding, logistics or automotive technology (e.g. vehicle master craftsman, forwarding agent)
• Experience in scheduling trucks and commercial vehicles. Employees, ideally in the construction or building materials sector
• Technical understanding of commercial vehicles, excavators, assembly vehicles and cars and their possible uses
• Organizational skills, assertiveness and communication skills
• Responsible way of thinking and working
• Confident use of MS Office
