Role Summary
We are looking for you for the three and a half year training as an electronics technician for automation technology (m/f/d) from August 1st, 2027. As an electronics technician for automation technology (m/f/d), you ensure that our production systems function reliably and that our production processes are efficiently controlled using modern automation technology. The training takes place in our company, the ILW (Industrial Institute for Teaching and Continuing Education in Mainz) and in the Mainz Vocational School.
This is what awaits you in your training
Learn the basics: You will acquire extensive knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and, among other things, learn how to set up, install and commission electrical systems as well as the structure of electronic circuits.
Programming systems: You program and configure complex automation systems and systems. You will learn how to use modern control and process control systems.
Keeping technology running: Your everyday work includes measuring and testing electrical and electronic variables, analyzing errors and maintaining automated systems.
Further development: We promote your individual development through regular feedback, internal in-house instruction and training measures
Requirements
As an electronics technician for automation technology (m/f/d), you will be deployed wherever automation technology is used. Therefore, you have a great interest in electrical engineering. In addition, you convince us with the following points:
You already have a secondary school leaving certificate, a (technical) university entrance qualification or an equivalent qualification or complete it before starting your training
- You enjoyed attending math and physics classes at school
- You are enthusiastic about technical contexts, IT and manual activities and have an understanding of them
- You enjoy finding solutions to complex problems and working with fine motor skills
- Quality and good work results are important to you. That's why you work conscientiously and carefully
