Role Summary

The Defense and Security sector must meet numerous challenges: Ensuring the operational efficiency of our customers, Designing and providing the forces with secure and sovereign solutions in a context where excellence and innovation make our projects successful.

Our dynamic and united team works with a common goal: to support the Ministry of the Armed Forces across its 3 army corps: Land, Sea and Air in order to respond to its capacity and strategic challenges with state-of-the-art tools.

Technical supervision

  • Coaching of Tech Leads
  • Structuring the technical sector
  • Animation of the technical community
  • Definition and monitoring of quality indicators
  • Assessment of the technical maturity of the teams

Other missions: active participation in AVV activities with high commitment, strategic choices beyond the project context, cross-functional activities and influence within your agency: harmonization of practices, technical roadmap, global industrialization, etc.

Responsibilities

Your role and missions

As an experienced Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the entire application development cycle, from their design through their development and management of their pipeline to their release into production:

  • Definition of architecture standards (cloud, security, observability)
  • Implementation of reference patterns (IAAS, CAAS, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Structuring DevOps practices (infra as code, GitOps, multi-env deployment)
  • Responsibility for resilience, scalability, security
  • You will also actively participate in the transformation of the client's IS through different DevOps-oriented aspects:
  • cloud strategy
  • technical governance
  • platform architecture
  • sovereignty / regulatory constraints
  • Manage or co-lead the migration to the sovereign cloud
  • Challenge legacy architectures
  • Make structuring choices (containerization, application division, redesign)
  • Support teams in adopting new paradigms (DevOps, cloud native)
  • Be the guarantor of the end-to-end DevOps value chain: from as-code infrastructure to the operation of services in production

Requirements

  • We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with good technical and managerial experience to support our teams. The organization, the sense of results and the teaching methods are assets that we particularly appreciate.
  • You have significant experience in IT transformation and migration to the cloud contexts (public, private or sovereign), with a strong DevSecOps and industrialization sensitivity.
  • You are recognized for your listening skills, your interpersonal skills, your rigor and your leadership.
  • Graduated with a BAC +5 (engineering school or equivalent), you have at least 10 years of experience.
