Role Summary

The Financial Services vertical: a lever for innovation at the heart of banking challenges

Within Sopra Steria's Financial Services vertical, we support major French and European banks in their digital transformation projects.

We work in key areas such as credits, payment methods, regulatory compliance, risk management and the fight against money laundering.

We consider the internship as a real springboard into the professional world: you will participate in a client project alongside an experienced tutor who will be able to guide you in this environment.

Your daily internship

• Within the agency, as an intern, you will join a team of 8/10 people on a project platform and will be involved in all phases of the software life cycle:
• Design and develop state-of-the-art User Stories (Application Security, automate tests, etc.)
• Explore the benefits of Generative AI with GitHub Copilot;
• Estimate loads, tests and documentation
• Participate in the CI/CD chain and the industrialization of deliverables
• Contribute to technical capitalization and technological monitoring
• Present technical subjects internally (Tech’Me UP, communities)

As full members of the team, you will participate in each event that punctuates the life of a client project.

• The main technical stacks used on our projects are:
• Back-end: Java 8/11/17/21, Spring Security, Spring Data, Webservices
• Front-end: JavaScript, Vue, React, Angular
• Data & Integration: ODI, Oracle Analytics, Data Catalyst, Talend
• AI: continue.dev, GPT 4.1, Copilot
• Cloud: Google Cloud, Azure and AWS
• DevOps: GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, S3

Of course, depending on your wishes and in line with the needs of the projects, these missions and technical stacks can evolve during your internship period.

Requirements

• We are looking for motivated, curious profiles, currently looking for a BAC +5 internship in the final year of engineering school, in a Master 2 in IT or equivalent training in 2026.
• Autonomous and proactive, you are recognized for your rigor and your interpersonal skills.
• During your course or a first internship (or work-study), you have acquired good foundations in development.
