Role Summary

The “Energy” division supports major players in the sector in France in the areas of thermal, hydraulic and nuclear production and distribution. In an agile context, our teams of experts participate in projects around digital transformation to lead our clients towards an ecological transition.

In order to perfect your technical expertise, we invite you to take part in the Tech’me UP initiative which aims to promote the technical sectors at Sopra Steria.

The main axes are as follows

Tech Excellence: develop skills through craftsmanship and algorithms, improve development environments to meet time-to-market and quality challenges;

Image Tech: preparation and rehearsal of talks internally and externally, conferences and writing of tech posts;

Human development: allow each developer and architect to find their path to advancement to the highest level, highlighting the skills of experts!

Your role and mission

• Within a project team of 5 to 15 people, your missions are:
• Initialization of code bases, project structures, establishing good development practices
• You take charge of critical or complex designs, costings and developments
• You support the team's developers and carry out code reviews (PR/MR)
• You are the guarantor of the continuous integration chain on your stack
• You contribute to technical capitalization and present technical subjects within the teams
• You participate in pre-sales when your area of expertise is concerned

Your technical environment: Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Angular, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.

Requirements

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a developer, you have solid technical skills in one or more back and front technical stacks such as Springboot, Java, Angular, acquired in different contexts.
• You have already carried out design, experimentation and implementation missions of the application structure with support to the development teams.
• You have already offered presentations/training on the correct implementation of the Java stack to a small team of junior developers.
• You participated in the implementation of industrialization and CI/CD, covering aspects of quality and security.
• You are sensitive to software craftmanship, and good development practices (SOLID, Clean Code).
• Finally, you have a degree from an engineering school or university training or equivalent.
