Role Summary
- The Telecom, Media & Entertainment division addresses the digital challenges of the markets:
- Telecom operators,
- Media and audiovisual,
Entertainment: lottery games and sports betting.
We support our key account clients in the race for technological innovations and the transformations they imply: 5G, the deployment of fiber, the Cloud and new uses (IoT, ChatBot, Mobile Apps, Digital Customer Relations, etc.).
In order to perfect your technical expertise, we invite you to take part in the Tech’me UP initiative which aims to promote the technical sectors at Sopra Steria.
The main axes are as follows
Tech Excellence: develop skills through craftsmanship and algorithms, improve development environments to meet time-to-market and quality challenges;
Image Tech: preparation and rehearsal of talks internally and externally, conferences and writing of tech posts;
Human development: allow each developer and architect to find their path to advancement to the highest level, highlighting the skills of experts!
Your activities as development manager
You validate the inputs, the design and the costings. You are responsible for good practices and means to ensure the quality of technical achievements.
You coordinate development actions within a given scope, interfacing with all stakeholders (internal and external).
You ensure the sustainability and coverage of test automation
You are the guarantor of technical documentary capitalization
You popularize and present technical subjects within teams. You are the relay of the communities in the team.
You support the team's developers and carry out code reviews (PR/MR)
You are the guarantor of the proper functioning of the continuous integration chain
You know the capabilities of each team member. You identify proportionate challenges to entrust to them.
Your technical environment: Java, JEE, Spring, Angular, Jenkins, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB

Requirements
- You have at least 5 years of experience managing a development team as well as application design experience, interacting with the client on their technical constraints.
- You have good knowledge in the use of a continuous integration chain such as Jenkins or Gitlab, with significant experience in managing branches and merges.
- You have solid foundations in terms of Sonar quality and application security.
- Pro-active and autonomous, you have no difficulty finding missing information or turning to your line manager to report any difficulties or areas for improvement.
- Finally, you have a Bac +5 degree from an engineering school, university or equivalent.
