As a manufacturing engineer, you actively shape the digital transformation of manufacturing in the aerospace environment. You work in projects on the introduction and further development of central production systems such as 3DX, MES (Apriso) and SAPS/4HANA. Your tasks will be project-related and assigned according to your individual strengths, so that you will be deployed exactly where you can provide the greatest added value.

What activities await you

3DX – Methods & Application

Introduction and further development of 3DX methods (e.g. 3D SOI) as well as definition of data objects and maturity levels.

Creation of guidelines, standards and best practices.

Validation of production-related use cases along the value stream

Production data & work preparation

Analysis and cleanup of work plans and production orders for use in 3DX, MES and SAPS/4HANA.

Design and optimization of production-relevant processes such as planning, release and change management.

Support sequencing and line balancing in collaboration with AV and methods.

MES (Apriso) – Shopfloor Enablement

Parameterization of production-critical MES logic and support of electronic order management.

Planning and execution of user acceptance tests (UAT) and non-regression tests (NRT) including defect triage and acceptance.

Functional support of production-related rollouts and tests

SAPS/4HANA – Integration & master data flow

Participation in end-to-end processes between SAP (PP/ME/DM), MES and 3DX.

Support for migration and cutover scenarios.

Analysis and optimization of production-relevant master data flows.

Way of working

You work in a focused manner and not on all streams at the same time. Work packages are project-related, structured and defined according to your skills - for example in the areas of 3DX, MES or SAPS/4HANA. Each work package is clearly outlined and has verifiable results, for example:

• Methodology documents

Requirements

Who we are looking for

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering/production technology
• or a technician training with several years of experience in work preparation or a comparable environment.
• Strong system affinity (PLM/MES/ERP) and structured, methodical working methods.
• Experience in at least one of the areas: 3DX, MES (Apriso) or SAP PP/ME/DM.
• Very good knowledge of German and English. Knowledge of French is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Confident, independent way of working in complex stakeholder environments.

Relevant previous experience that strengthens your role

• 3DX/DDMS method competence (ideally including 3D SOI) as well as knowledge of CATIAV5 and PDM systems.
• Experience with SAP production processes and production-related data models.
• Background in the aerospace/Airbus environment, particularly in ramp-up, transformation or shop floor rollout projects.
