In your role as Manufacturing Engineer & Shop Floor Manager, you not only drive digital innovations, but also ensure the practical implementation of these technologies directly on the shop floor. You analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify optimization potential and develop practical solutions - from the introduction of new automation technologies to the integration of MES/MOM systems. In doing so, you ensure that these technologies are seamlessly integrated into existing production processes and offer real added value in practical application.

The tasks include, among other things

  • Advising our customers on the analysis, evaluation and optimization of existing manufacturing processes with a focus on efficiency, quality and digitalization
  • Preparation and support in the selection, introduction and integration of new systems and tools in production
  • Planning and implementation of digital technologies (e.g. MES/MOM) to support shop floor management
  • Close collaboration with relevant stakeholders to realize modern manufacturing concepts
  • Carrying out potential analyzes to assess the maturity level of work preparation and process planning
  • Analysis of manufacturing and assembly processes as well as planning and implementation of efficient production and shop floor concepts
  • Training employees on the shop floor in dealing with new technologies and processes
  • Capacity and performance analyzes to determine minimum and maximum production rates taking into account capacity utilization

Target time determination and method planning using MTM, REFA or similar.

Conception, implementation and further development of shop floor management systems

Requirements

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a solution-oriented personality with technical know-how and analytical thinking who will drive improvements in production. You have a degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering or a similar field.

You also have

  • Experience in manufacturing/shop floor management as well as enthusiasm for digital transformation
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, production systems and digital tools
  • Analytical thinking skills, structured way of working and a high level of process understanding
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary manner
  • Experience in a change environment or with the introduction of new technologies is an advantage
