Role Summary

Context of the internship

As an intern, we invite you to join our Data Factory practice located in Nantes. Made up of more than 100 data engineers and data experts, we support players in the banking market in the implementation of data platforms (Dataware, Datamart, Datalake and Lakehouse).

By joining us, you will have the opportunity to discover market data solutions and be trained in their use, as well as in data engineering methods and practices.

Mission contributions

• Discover the field of financial services (banking and bancassurance)
• Understand the major current challenges of data platformization for our clients
• Deepen your technological skills in DATA, supported by a team of experienced engineers
• Have solid experience in a recognized professional context

Technologies and tools used

• During the mission, you will be required to use all or part of the technologies and data solutions below:
• ETL/ELT: Datastage, Talend, Informatica, Semarchy, DBT
• Data Platform Solution: Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera
• Languages: Spark, Scala, Python, Shell, SQL
• LLM: Gemini, ChatGpt, Mistral, …

Requirements

Your future working environment

Depending on your training course and your appetite for data, you will join one of our project teams in total immersion and will be supported, trained and even certified depending on the context on all or part of the stages of implementation and/or maintenance of a data platform, namely:

• Data ingestion,
• storage,
• data preparation,
• valuation,
• exposure and visualization.
• You will be required to design, develop and test your own data components.

Profile sought

• You are curious, you have a sense of service, good interpersonal skills and you like working in a team. You have good adaptation skills and you are proactive.
• Currently in your final year of engineering school, in a Master 2 in IT or equivalent training, you have the ability to solve complex problems and you have a good understanding of relational databases.

Your missions over the period

Completely integrated into the project team, and monitored by a tutor and experts, you will be required to:

Design, develop, test your own data components.

• Train you on best practices and monitoring of market data guide lines
• Be a source of suggestions for improvements, initiatives, prototypes (collective ideation)
• Participate in project instances and instances of the Data4Finance practice

Train you on low code/no code data partner solutions, on CI/CD tools, on Cloud providers in line with your internship context.
