Data Engineer Snowflake H/F - Data Architecture & Pipelining

Role Summary

Within Sopra Steria Next, you will join the Architecture & Pipelining team, specialized in the design and industrialization of modern Data platforms.

You will evolve in a collective of experts passionate about Data Cloud architectures and performance, scalability and industrialization issues.

• The team works on subjects of high technical value:
• Migrating business intelligence platforms to Snowflake
• Modernization of historic Data Warehouses
• Building Modern Data Platforms
• Industrialization of Data pipelines
• Optimization of large-scale Cloud Data platforms

You will work alongside experienced Data architects and contribute to the implementation of architectures that will support our clients' analytical, AI and Data Products uses.

Responsibilities

• Snowflake development
• Develop and optimize SQL processing on Snowflake
• Implement efficient and industrialized ELT pipelines

Take advantage of the platform’s advanced features

• Tasks & Streams
• Time Travel
• Data Sharing
• Zero Copy Cloning
• Participate in the optimization of costs and performances
• Data Engineering
• Design and develop reliable and maintainable data pipelines
• Ensure the quality, traceability and observability of treatments
• Model data (staging, core, data marts)
• Participate in industrialization and automation strategies
• Architecture & Modernization
• Participate in the design of modern Data Platforms
• Contribute to Snowflake migration projects
• Define development and operating standards
• Work on volumetrics, performance and scalability issues
• Rise in expertise
• Collaborate on a daily basis with Snowflake experts and Data architects
• Participate in technical choices and architectural reflections
• Develop recognized expertise in Cloud Data technologies
• Prepare for Snowflake certifications

Requirements

• Profile sought
• Bac+5 in computer science or equivalent
• 7 years minimum experience in Data Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience on Snowflake
• Strong appetite for architecture and industrialization subjects
