Data Engineer Spark Scala - Services Financiers - Ile-De-France

Role Summary

Sopra Steria's “Financial Services” division focuses on retail banking, private banking and specialized financial services. We support the transformation of our clients in the areas of Credit, Risk/Compliance and Payment Methods.

As part of the implementation of the Data platform for one of our clients, we are looking for a Spark Scala Data Engineer.

Your role and missions

• In agreement with the client, you evaluate, design, deploy and maintain the databases in operational condition
• You define the operational model to monitor and support data pipelines
• You ensure that the data pipelines created are resilient, secure and accessible
• You provide expertise to our clients on their data to ensure its optimization and security in relation to their needs
• You provide knowledge in quality management and data governance to monitor compliance with data governance

You carry out technological monitoring in the field in order to enrich technological roadmaps and provide modern solutions to our clients.

Technical environment: Spark, Scala, Python, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Elastic, Cloudera, Azure HD Insight, DataStage, SAS, DataIku, DataBricks

Requirements

• Graduate from an engineering school or equivalent training, you have already participated in a Data project and you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• You attach particular importance to developing your skills on several technologies. You want real career development through project experience.
• You are concerned about providing value for your customers.
• You want to pass on your knowledge to less experienced colleagues.
