(Senior) Legal Counsel Data Protection (m/f/d)

Role Summary

With know-how and foresight, you advise the departments of the group and group companies on compliance with data protection requirements and regulations from other relevant legal areas.

Even in complex situations, it is important to reconcile data protection law with successful business activity.

You draft contracts/projects and respond to data protection-related complaints as well as individual data protection inquiries from employees and customers.

You observe and implement the requirements of laws and regulations on data protection for the companies in the R+V Group.

You have the skills to work conceptually.

Requirements

• You are a fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with, if possible, above average legal state examinations. Additional qualification such as doctorate and/or LL.M. are welcome, but not a requirement.
• You have acquired relevant professional experience and in-depth knowledge of data protection law and related legal areas, ideally within a financial services group.
• Well-qualified and highly motivated young professionals (m/f/d) are also welcome.
• You have a high affinity and knowledge of new technologies in the information society.
• Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, economic thinking and an independent way of working round off your profile.
