Role Summary
Development and planning of our cross-company, future-proof IT strategy and IT architecture landscape in line with our business goals and our “Next Level” strategy.
You analyze business strategies, identify functional and technical requirements and advise management up to the board level on new IT options, architectural visions and risks.
Shaping the strategic and technical direction of artificial intelligence - especially generative AI - at the company level. You will develop target images, reference architectures and guardrails for the safe, scalable and economical use of AI.
You ensure the integration of AI solutions into our existing IT landscape and accompany relevant AI initiatives from the idea to implementation. You advise departments, management and the board of directors on potential, risks and suitable application options.
You evaluate and select innovative technologies, make architectural decisions at company level and ensure the compatibility and integration of our IT systems.
Developing standards, guidelines and reference architectures is part of your area of responsibility. You ensure compliance and design architectural governance processes, for example when dealing with technical debt and KPIs.
In your job, you create IT architecture specifications for security, data protection and compliance at the company level and continuously adapt them to changing requirements.
You continuously observe and evaluate market trends and derive concrete recommendations and measures from them.
Close collaboration with other architects, managers and departments is just as much a part of the role as promoting further development and collaboration within the Enterprise Architecture department.
Together with the relevant stakeholders, you will establish standards for AI governance, data quality, data protection, information security and regulatory requirements, for example in the context of the EU AI Act.
Requirements
- Completed university degree (diploma/master), ideally with a focus on computer science, business informatics or comparable, as well as additional qualifications in enterprise and application architecture and in-depth knowledge of architectural methods and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman).
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in the field of IT architecture, enterprise architecture, solution architecture or IT architecture - preferably also in the environment of large financial service providers.
- Experience with the design and implementation of complex IT landscapes, standardization, governance and architecture management.
- Strong leadership, communication and consulting skills – you are an empathetic sparring partner for managers and stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, change management and the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Fluent knowledge of German (at least level B2), knowledge of English is an advantage.
